Little Valley’s Freedom Daze Spectacular Ready to Go

LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. -- The traditional Freedom Daze Spectacular is on tap at Little Valley Speedway on July 3rd and 4th. Sponsored by Randy’s Collision, the racing show on Tuesday, July 3rd will highlight the Super Late Models, led by previous winners Jason Dupont and Mike Knight, along with other top late models drivers in the region. They will be racing for $3,000 to win. Also on the busy card will be the Crate Late Models, competing for $750 in first place money, the BRP Can Am 360 Late Model Dart Challenge, looking for the $1,000 first place check, the E-Mods, vying for $750, and the Street Stocks, racing for a $500 first place payday.

Admission for adults is $14, with those under 12 admitted free. Racing begins at 7:00.

On Wednesday, July 4th, the Freedom Daze Demolition Derby will start at 7:30. The show features a Large Car Demo, paying $1,000 to win and a Small Car Demo, paying $500 to win. The evening will conclude with a Fireworks spectacular. Admission for this very popular event is $8, with those under 8 admitted free.

The Speedway, located at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds on Rt. 353 in Little Valley, NY, boasts a covered grandstand with stadium seats, along with arguably the best food in racing. There is free camping, with hookups, on the grounds. Early arrivals are permitted. It is conveniently located just a few miles north of the Salamanca exit of I-86 and only eight miles from the resort town of Ellicottville. It is also only minutes away from Alleghany State Park, the jewel of the New York Parks and the Seneca Casino in Salamanca.

Tickets for the highly anticipated World of Outlaws Late Model Show, scheduled for Wednesday, August 29th, will be on sale starting July 2nd. Ticket are $25 for ages 13 and older, $15, for ages 6-12, with those under 6 admitted free. Tickets will be available by phone with a Master/Visa or Discover card, or by mail at the fairgrounds. Pit passes are $35 and must be purchased at the track on race day. Gates open at 1:00PM, with racing at 6:30. The rain date for this event is Thursday, August 30th.
