Thursday, July 5, 2012 Applebee Motorsports UEMS E-Mod Invasion and Morgan Family Street Stock Special at Stateline Speedway
 by Glenn SlocumBUSTI, N.Y. -- The second attempt to complete the Applebee Motorsports UEMS E-Mod Invasion will happen this Saturday at Stateline along with the Morgan Family Street Stock Special. The qualifying for the Invasion was complete on June 2nd when rain interrupted the competition before it could be completed. The starting line-up for the $5,000 to win 40 lap main feature and the non-qualifiers race have been set with new cars allowed to join the non-qualifiers feature and non-qualifiers will be allowed to fill any openings in the main.
Kyle Inman, Darien NY, Warren PA’s Dan Davies, Franklinville NY’s John Woodard, Painesville OH’s Brian Douglas and Olean NY’s Randy Hall will start up front in the main. Ischua NY’s Rich Michael Jr., Ashville NY’s Alex Froman will be on the front row for the Non-Qualifiers 30 lap race.
The Street Stock division will also run in a special event sponsored by the Morgan family. Chris Withers, Waterford PA, is the current Street Stock point leader and has completely dominated the winners circle with eight consecutive wins and is the man to beat in the division. Veteran Brian Crandall from Stockton NY is second and Limestone NY’s Richard Wojtowicz Jr. is third. Waterford PA’s Rich Gardner is the Super Late Model point leader with Franklinville NY’s Greg Oakes second.
Eldred PA’s Damian Bidwell is the Crate Late Model leader. Bidwell notched his second win of the season last Saturday. Stockton NY’s Bob Dorman is second 194 points back followed by Jamestown NY’s Jason Genco and Olean NY’s John Haggerty.
Dustin Eckman, Erie PA, won last Saturday matching point leader Waterford PA’s Steve Kania in the win column but sitting third in the point standings. Sherman NY’s Chris Ottaway is second 108 points behind Kania.
Dan Nocero Jr., Jamestown NY., is the Super Sportsman leader followed by Sherman NY’s Ben Burgess Jr.
Stockton NY’s Chad bender is the Super Challenger leader.
