CENTER LISLE, N.Y. -- It was a beautiful Sept. 11th day for racing and the track was in fast an in great shape as always at Thunder Mountain Speedway.

There were 3 classes of 4cyl. racing.Top pay outs being $3,000, $1,000, and $500 going to the winners in the respective classes

It was very interesting to see different styles of Mini Stocks. There were Superstocks class, the Outlaws, & Purestocks. There were a couple cars from Ark. & Ohio, alot from Pa. & N.Y.. They all put on a great show with very few cautions. There is a very good chance that this will become a yearly race.

This was wonderful idea as 4cyl mini stocks is the fastest, most inexpensive and least recognized class of all. This race gave them the opportunity to show what good racing is all about. Also the rules were strictly enforced which is very rare these days in the racing community. Which made each Field of classes alot more equal.

Mr. Nate Stevens and all who made this happen did a wonderful job of doing so, Conceding this was the first of it's kind in this area. The crowd also seemed very please with the show. So with that said, and as my opinion i believe it would be very welcomed in the 4cyl racing community would love to have a return performance, maybe even a couple times a year.
