IMCA Empire State Series at Thunder Mountain July 5

CENTER LISLE, N.Y. -- The third race in the World Products Empire State Series takes IMCA Modifieds to Thunder Mountain Speedway for a Sunday, July 5 show.

Pit gates and the grandstand at Center Lisle open at noon. Hot laps are at 1:15 p.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m.

The main event pays $400 to win and a minimum of $75 to start. All applicable IMCA points will be awarded.

Grandstand admission is $14 for adults and $12 for seniors and students (10-17). Kids nine and under get in free. Pit passes are $30. Free camping, but no hookups, will be available.

Tom Eiklor prevailed in the only previous series event held at Center Lisle, last July 6.

Kevan Cook won the 2009 opening night feature at Skyline Raceway and leads the current series point stand ings. Eddie Sites was the round two tour winner, at Redline Raceway.

The World Products Empire State Series is at Brewerton Speedway for a Friday, Aug. 7 show before return ing to Thunder Mountain on Sunday, Aug. 16.
