LEE, N.H. -- This Friday night, May 25th, the Lee USA Speedway will honor our nation's veterans by presenting its 5th Annual Veterans' Night along with the regular NASCAR Whelen weekly racing program. All veterans and active duty military personnel will be admitted free.

For the second year in a row, the tribute will feature the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Riders, dedicated to veterans and veterans' issues. Motorcycle riders will depart from The Chop Shop in Seabrook, NH at 6:15PM and arrive at the speedway at about 7:00PM. All proceeds from the ride will go to assisting returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. The Memorial Day weekend celebration will continue at 7:00PM with an honor guard and a 21 gun salute. Representatives of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion will also be present.

All four regular NASCAR Whelen Weekly Racing Series divisions will also be in action Friday night. Tom Tombarello will be out to make it two in a row after his win in the Benson Hardware Small Block Supermodified feature a week ago. Previous week's winner, Mike Ordway, and defending champ, Wayne Heliwell, Jr., will also be in the chase.

Prime Storage Late Model Sportsman driver JR Baril will be looking for his third straight after narrowly prevailing in his division's feature a week ago. Rivals, Boe Green and Grant Aither, are expected to make their first appearance of the season to thwart Baril's rampage.

Mike Williams, Patrick Tanguay, and Brian Thompson will head the David's Race Cars and Components Hobby Stock division and Jake Rheaume, Evan Horvath, and Danielle Simoneau will star in the American Auto Ironman division. Action starts at 7:15PM. Kids under 12 are always free.
