CARSON CITY, Nev. -- This Saturday night at the Champion Motor Speedway 'Vital Signs' will present the "Les Schwab Screamin' S'CoolBus" speed finale.

Also in action, will be the long awaited return of the lightning-fast Charter Super LateModels, (plus) Legends, Les Schwab Street Stocks, Blazin' Bandoleros, and the ultra-crazed Queen Beez.

"Jamin" Joe Wheeler will once again get behind the wheel of the legendary Les Schwab Screamin' S'CoolBus. This will be Wheeler's last chance to set a new 'closed course' worlds speed record around the high-banked 1/3-mile asphalt oval.

Last Saturday night, Wheeler shook down the retired school bus, and was able to lay down some laps in the 21-second range. "This week my crew chief tweaked on the turbo, installed a g-force racing seat, made some cross weight adjustments, and increased the front stagger," claimed Wheeler. "So if them tires don't come apart up in the high-banks, I reckin we just might get her down into the teens."

During intermission, Wheeler has agreed to slow down just long enough to give all Kids Klub members thrill rides in the Screamin' S'CoolBus for the final time this season.

Fun Jumpers' Earnhardt Memorial Park will feature the Ponderosa Stamp & Engraving bicycle races at 6:30pm, and the bounce house pavilion.

The final attempt to shatter the Screamin' S'CoolBus worlds speed record is scheduled to get under way at 6:45pm.

Showing LIVE at all five Thunder Theater locations will be the ARCA RE/MAX series from Salem, Indiana.

The pits open @ 3pm, front gates open @ 5pm, and the racing starts @ 7PM. Adults are only $9.00, Seniors (55 and over) and Military (with photo ID) are only $7.00, Teens (18 to13) are $5.00, Juniors (12 to 6) are $3.00 and Kids (5 & under) are free. Event parking is also free.
