MCCOOK, Neb. -- There will be an information gathering meeting regarding McCook Speedway on Sunday, December 13 at 1:30 PM at the 4H Building on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook. Drivers and fans are encouraged to come to the meeting and give their input on what is good with the race track facility, and what is needed worked on or changed. Don Klein and Jay Schilling of the Red Willow County fairboard and Dennis McFarland, a former promoter of the track, will run the meeting. A decision on a new promoter has not yet been made, but the information gathered at the meeting will help the fairboard make some decisions regarding the 2010 season.
