DONIPHAN, Neb. -- Tom Kubicka started the night in a positive manner as he led the first of three Grand National heat races from start to finish. Robert Leonard took second followed by Jake Smidt and Bob Milander. Marc Peters led the second heat for the distance and a win. Dave Cook was second with Justin Gregg third and Dean Neighbors fourth. Alex Humphrey won the final heat in this division after taking the lead from Alan Jordening on lap number four. Kevin Safranek moved into second on the final lap with Josh Leonard and Alan Jordening rounding out the top four.

Vince Liebert dominated the first heat in the IMCA Modified division. Jim Krupicka was second, Scott Blessing third and fourth was Jarred Hackler, Matthew Kiner led the first two laps in the second heat but then Wade Cross took the lead and went on for the win. Jared Hoefelman moved up to take second with Kinner third and Chris Alcorn fourth. Jacob Anson led the first half of heat number three but then Brian took the lead and the win. Chad Dolan moved into second with Anson third and Tyler Iverson was fourth.

Jerry Barribo won IMCA Hobby Stock heat number one after leading the entire race. Kyle Bond took second followed by Tyler Iverson and Michael Zerr. Terry Eatherton led all but the final two laps of the second heat. Andy Gregg took the lead on the white flag lap for the win and Eatherton held on for second. Cody Blessing held on for third with Tim Miller fourth.

Ben Hobbs won the Jr. Hornet heat race after taking the lead half-way through the race. Tony Rost was second followed by Tyler Auten and Michael Wiese.

Robert Lawson controlled the first Happy Hornet heat race for the win. Matthew Ford took second with Richard Crow and Dana Pospisil in pursuit. Darrell Fieldgrove led all but the final lap in the second heat. Michael Boehle got the win with Fieldgrove second, Josh Lambertus third and Mike Poland was fourth.

Gary Chamber won the IMCA Modifed B-feature after taking the lead on lap number seven. James Moore moved up to take second, John Haubold was third and Robby Leonard fourth.

Jake Neighbors led the Grand National Late Model B-feature from start to finish. Jerron Suck held on for second with Larry Iiams third and Ty Leonard finished fourth.

Ben Hobbs won the Jr. Hornet feature after taking the lead from Dalton Smith on lap number five. Smith remained in second followed by Tony Rost and Michael Wiese.

Matthew Ford led the Happy Hornet feature from start to finish. Darick Lamberson moved up to take second. Erik Nelson crossed the finish line in third but tech inspection following the race resulted in a disqualification. Dana Pospisil received credit for third and Josh Lambertus fourth.

Tyler Andreasen led the first three laps in the Hobby Stock feature but then Andy Gregg took the lead and went on for another win. Troy Paxton took second with Kyle Bond and Jerry Barribo rounding out the top four.

Vince Liebert took the lead as the IMCA Modifed feature began. Chad Dolan took the lead on lap five and continued for the win as Jarred Hoefelman moved up to challenge in second. Third went to Tyler Iverson and Liebert dropped to fourth.

Robert Leonard took the lead from Alan Jordening on lap two of the Grand National Late Model feature. Justin Gregg took the lead on lap sixteen but Leonard came back on lap eighteen to take the lead for the final time and got the win. Justin Gregg finished second, Marc Peters moved into third and Bob Milander was fourth.
