The team was last in action on April 21st when Tyson traveled to Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) for a Weekly Racing Series Event as a talented field of 22 entries registered for action. Heat race action found Franks advancing from the fifth starting spot to a third place finish. Via his heat race performance he earned the eighth starting spot for the main event and would race throughout the top ten before crossing the finish line in the seventh position, which marked his third straight top ten finish. Tyson will open the upcoming weekend at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) on Thursday and Friday with the 10th Annual Scrapp Fox Memorial, which boasts a $3,000-to-win/$300-to-start purse. On Thursday night double heat races will be held, while Friday night's program will be headlined by consolation events, a pole-sitter's dash and the 35 lap finale. On Saturday the action will shift to West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) for a Casey's USMTS Open Wheel Modified Series event.
