COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Heads to Beebe Speedway, 67 Speedway

BEEBE, Ark. -- The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour will make its first appearances of the season this weekend at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) and 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas).

With the tour now approaching the mid-part of the season Jon Mitchell has taken control of the point' lead by just two markers over Robert Baker. Curtis Cook Brandon Smith, Johnny Virden, Kyle Beard, Jon Kirby, Keith Lawson, Chandler Petty and Billy Moyer Jr. round out the top ten in the current standings.

Robert Baker also continues to lead the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings over Chandler Petty and Kenneth Jackson.

This Friday's event at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) will mark the second round of the RiceTec/RiceSelect Summer Series. The series within a series boasts a $1,000 bonus to the winner of the miniseries with $500 to the second place driver, $300 to the third place driver, and a $200 bonus to the fourth place driver in the final standings. In addition, Integra Shocks is sponsoring a shock rebuild, Fast Shafts is sponsoring a driveshaft, and other contingency prizes are currently being lined out.

On Friday night, June 22nd the CCSDS tour rolls into Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) for the second round of the RiceTec/RiceSelect Summer Series, which will be headlined by a $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start event. The event will mark the first of three appearances by the tour at the facility in 2012. Also in action will be Open Wheel Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, Factory Stocks, and E-Mods. Adult grandstand admission is $15 with senior citizens $10 and kids (6-10 years-of-age) $5. Children (5 & under) are free. Pit passes are $30. Saturday night, June 23rd will be the only appearance of 2012 for the CCSDS at the 1/4 mile, 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas). A $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start program will be held. Also in action will be the Limited Open Wheel Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and Novice divisions. Gates open at 5:00pm with racing action slated for 7:30pm. Adult grandstand admission is $15 with senior citizens $10, children (6-12 years-of-age) $10, and children (5 years-of-age and under) Free. Pit passes are $30.
