ANKENY, Iowa -- Kevin Sather has to love the number three. On Sunday night Sather checked his #3, Victory Chassis / Karl Chevrolet GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine powered IMCA SportMod, in for competition at the Historical Stuart Speedway located in Stuart Iowa. Sather then proceeded to take care of business. On the heals of his feature win Friday night at the Marshalltown Speedway, Sather went three for three on the night, winning his 8 lap heat race, the 6 lap pole dash and the 15 lap Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod A Feature. For his efforts, Sather will receive a $100 “Award Certificate” from IMCA Northern SportMod Title Sponsor, Karl Chevrolet.

In addition to their IMCA SportMod Title Sponsorship, Karl Chevrolet also awards any IMCA SportMod competitor who wins a feature event using a GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine purchased through Karl Chevrolet, with a contingency “Award Certificate” valued at $100. Sunday marks the second award certificate earned by Sather, both of them coming during the same weekend of competition.

Karl Chevrolet is one of the leading suppliers in the country for GM Performance Parts and GM Performance Parts Crate Engines used by sanctioning bodies, racing organizations and independent race tracks across the country. These durable, economical engines are built and sealed at the factory by General Motors to prevent any expensive modifications.
