JUNCTION CITY, Ky. -- The upcoming 2012 Memorial Day weekend promises to offer a fantastic weekend of dirt track racing entertainment for the fans and racers of the Central and Southern Kentucky area as Ponderosa Speedway track promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz, Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett, and Lake Cumberland Speedway track promoter Brandon Hardgrove will offer up a $600 bonus if the same racer in the Late Model division can win the Late Model feature at all three racing venues that are planned for that weekend.

Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY will kick off the tripleheader weekend of racing action on Friday evening May 25 with a $2,000 win event for the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Late Model division. Also in racing competition on Friday May 25 will be a full racing program for the track’s Clayton Homes Modifieds, Ken Towery’s Auto and Tire Care Sportsman, Bob Allen Motor Mall Street Stocks, and Front Wheel Drive divisions.

Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY will present race two of the weekend’s action on Saturday evening May 26 with the 2nd Annual Rain Dodger 40, paying $3,000 to win for the Country 100.7 Late Models. In addition to the Late Models, also in competition on Saturday May 26 will be a full racing program for the track’s Modified, Sportsman, Road Hog, and Four Cylinder divisions.

Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY will round out the weekend’s racing events on Sunday evening May 27 with the rescheduled Lake Cumberland Classic Tune-Up, paying $3,000 to win for Super Late Models, plus $700 to win for Modifieds. Joining these two divisions on May 27 will be the track’s Super Dirt Stocks, Sportsman, and Front Wheel Drive divisions.
