Friday, May 23, 2008 24 Raceway Race Cancelation Promo for May 31
 by Ron LueckMOBERLY, Mo. -- Due to continued heavy rain at 24 Raceway, the W.O.W. 360 Sprints/ Gary Scott Memorial event sheduled for tonite, May 24th has been canceled. Watch for a rescheduled date later in the season.
UPCOMING EVENTS: May 31 - Weekly racing program
June 7 - Monthly flea market & auto parts swap meet - 7am to 7pm w/ weekly racing for points for all five classes to follow
June 14 - Classic Dwarf Cars & Mod Lites, along with the annual "Dukes of Hazard" show, Randolph County style
"Dirt Track Racing at its Best" will return next Saturday May 31st at 7pm with a driver's meeting at 6pm, followed by hot laps. The five regular classes of A-modifieds, the Moberly Motors B-modifieds, Sportsman, Hobby Stocks and the 4 cylinder Hornets will all be in competition. The fast action will take place again on these high banks, east of Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24. Adult ticket prices are only $10, with children, ages 6 to 12, getting in for $5. Kids under 6 are always free. The grandstands will open at 4 p.m. Pit passes are $25 apiece. And whoever out there is doing that rain dance - you can stop now....
