Herr Foods to Sponsor ARCA Racing Series Event at Madison Int'l Speedway in August
TOLEDO, Ohio -- Officials from the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and Herr Foods, Inc. announced today that the Pennsylvania-based snack food producer will become the title sponsor of the "Herr's Live Life With Flavor 200" ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event at Madison International Speedway on Friday, August 26.
The Herr's Live Life With Flavor 200 will highlight the return of ARCA-sanctioned racing at Madison International Speedway in the series' first visit to the south-central Wisconsin half-mile oval since 1973, when it was named Capital Super Speedway.
Fans will have the chance to "Save Big Money at Menards," as Madison-area Menards locations will offer advance sale tickets for the Herr's Live Life With Flavor 200 at a 40 percent discount off of the regular ticket price.
"This event sponsorship is a direct result of a business-to-business relationship between Herr's Foods and Menards," said Mark Gundrum, vice president of marketing and communications for ARCA. "The end result is new distribution for Herr's, plus the opportunity for ARCA to return to Wisconsin to race.
"Herr's and Menards have become very important strategic marketing partners, not only for Madison International Speedway, but for the entire ARCA Racing Series. Herr's involvement with the tour and our presenting sponsor positions them as a very important marketing partner for ARCA."
