MASON, Mich. -- Larry Wallace continued his domination of the Sawyers Chevrolet Superstore modified division as he nabbed the 35 lap feature win Friday night at Spartan Speedway in Mason, Michigan. It was Wallace’s ninth main event victory in ten attempts this season.

Craig Curtis (MCR Dwarfs), Ron Heeney (Lipari Foods Spartan Stock A division), Harold Branham Jr. (Lipari Foods Spartan Stock B division), Mike Westfall (Boss Snow Equipment Pony Stock A Division), and Lex Jarecki (Boss Snow Equipment Pony Stocks B Division) also captured feature wins. It was Westfall and Branham’s first ever feature victories.

This Sunday (June 22) will be the annual “Charging Charlie Ryan Memorial 75 Presented by B and L Truck Caps” for the Tripp’s Auto Shop Collision Centers Super Late Models. Lipari Foods Spartan Stocks and Boss Snow Equipment Pony Stocks will be in action for Round 3 of the “Sunday Slugfest Series“ plus Pony Stock Figure 8‘s and the first race of the 2012 “Mid Michigan School Bus Challenge. Next Friday (July 27) is “Motorcycle Night” sponsored by Shaheen Chevrolet. Tripp’s Auto Shop Collision Center’s Sprints will be in action along with Modifieds, Spartan and Pony Stocks and Round Two of the Mid Michigan School Bus Challenge. Racing begins at 7:30 pm on Friday and 6 pm on Sunday.
