Fireworks at Luxemburg Speedway

LUXEMBURG, Wis. -- This Friday Night July 6th, Luxemburg Speedway is celebrating Independence Day. The Speedway will have fireworks after the races. Pepsi Bottling and The Village Kitchen are co-sponsoring the races. The five regular divisions are in action with the Racing starting at 7 p.m.

“Chummy” Eric Arneson and Sean Jerovetz put on a great battle all the way down to the checker flags in IMCA Modified action last week. The rookie Arneson, took home his second win of the season at the speedway. Jerovetz leads Shawn Kilgore in the standings by 9.

Brandon Czarapata earned his 3rd feature win in the IMCA Stockcar division. Czarapata grabbed the lead from Barry Van Straten and checked out in his win. Troy Muench holds a 5 digit advantage over both Shawn Havel and John Heinz.

Greg Potts earned his first career feature win last week. The IMCA Sportmod driver fended all comers in picking up the win. Brad Lautenbach extended his point lead to 2 points last week over Brian Bruechert.

Scott Boulanger pulled away from Rob Waechter Jr in taking home top honors in the IMCA Hobby Stock A Main. Tom Brumlic now has an 11 point advantage over Derek Moede.

Dan Van Pay earned his second straight victory in the 4 Cylinder division. Van Pay trails Ralph Liegeois by 8 points in the run for the series championship.
