Tuesday, June 26, 2012 Horn Ford, Lena Bumper to Bumper Add Prize Money to 141 Clash @ Creek IV June 27

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- A pair of businesses are stepping up to provide some bonus cash for street stock and Badger Mod Tour drivers for the Clash @ The Creek IV presented by Budweiser and Larry’s Distributing Wednesday, June 27 at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
Horn Ford Mercury Marine of Brillion and Lena Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts are throwing extra money to the drivers in the Tisler Salvage street stock and Custom Windows Plus Badger Mod Tour presented by Floors By Design & Directional Drilling Services classes, respectively.
Horn Ford will award an extra $100 to the highest finishing street stock driver who qualified through Wednesday night’s feature through the qualifying races. On Wednesday, the top twelve drivers in weekly points who show up prior to the draw cutoff will be locked in to the first six rows of the feature. A qualifying race or races will be run to determine positions 13-20 in the Budweiser A main.
Lena Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts will award a $50 bill to a BMT driver who finishes 1st through 6th in the 40 lap A main. The finishing position will be determined by the roll of the die prior to the national anthem, which will be tossed by Oconto Falls Lance Arneson, who won the series inaugural event at Wilmot Raceway June 17.

IMCA northern sportmods will run their full program sanctioned, including heat races. They will employ a draw/redraw format for this special event which will dole out track points. Stock cars will also compete, utilizing the same format as the Tisler Salvage street stocks.
The Badger Mod Tour will run its regular full program including heat races, B mains and the 40 lap A main. $1,000 will go to the winner, along with another $1,000 that is available in lap leader money, making it possible for one BMT driver to fatten his or her wallet to the tune of $2,000.
This race will also count towards the weekly motor and race car giveaways as well in the three support classes. Adult admission prices are $15.00 for this event. Seniors and students are $10.00.
