Wednesday, May 11, 2011 Spectator Eliminator to Start at Thunderhill May 14; Rules and Regulations
 by Edward AnschutzSTURGEON BAY, Wis. -- Ever wish you had the chance to race around the 1/3 mile clay oval but don’t have the budget to own a race car, well here’s your chance. The Woody’s Signs Spectator Eliminator is set to kick off this Saturday May 14 at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway. Drivers will be able to compete for a minimum cash price of $80 in a winner takes all race. Cars and or trucks will be lined up on the front stretch and will receive the green flag from a dead stop. They will race around for one lap, first one back to the checker flag wins. If there are more than two vehicles we will go into a elimination style format until there is one winner. There will only be two vehicles racing at a time. Races will take place at the end of the night. Drivers to pay a $15 entry fee along with a $20 pit pass. All entry fees will be put in the winners purse for the night along with $50 courtesy of Woody’s Signs. Just print out the form and hand it in before the start of the nights events at the drivers sign in booth. Thunderhill is located at the John Miles Fair Park on Sturgeon Bay’s east side with racing in the six divisions beginning every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock, Street Stock and Feisty Fours in action. Pit gates open at 3:30 P.M. racing starts at 6:00 P.M.
