SEDALIA, Mo. (Feb. 14, 2003) - This Friday's weather forecast made Coliseum Indoor Kart Series promoter Wayne Campbell decide that this Saturday night's event was best not run.

"The snow is not supposed to be too heavy here in Sedalia," Campbell explained. "But it's going to be heavy in areas close-by, and along with sleet to boot. The snow wouldn't bother us to race inside the Coliseum, but getting here with their karts, safely, would be doubtful".

"A lot of our competitors have to pull out early on Saturdays to drive a long way, and we just have to make early judgments sometimes," Campbell finalizes.

The kart competitors won't be back for two weeks as the Fourth Annual "Yeager's Cycle Coliseum ArenaCross" will run on the inside moto course on both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, February 22nd and 23rd. ATV's will run on Saturday night, while Sunday afternoon will be all Motorcycles.
