Schatz, Coons and White practice at Tulsa Fairgrounds
by Race AuthorTULSA, Okla. -- Open-wheel racing stars Donny Schatz, Jerry Coons Jr., and Paul White will all take part in today's USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series practice session at Tulsa Fairgrounds Motorplex.
Today's practice serves as a prelude to the Sunday, September 14, O'Reilly Tulsa 100, which will feature the USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series. The practice session will begin at approximately 2:30-3:00 p.m., after the conclusion of the 2:00 p.m. press conference. The practice session is open to the public free of charge.

Schatz and Coons will pilot the RE Technologies entries, while 2001 USAC Silver Crown champion Paul White will pilot the Paul Cook Racing entry. Coons is filling in for Tyler Walker, who had other testing commitments today. Walker will be on hand for the O'Reilly Tulsa 100 on September 14.
Reserved seats for the Sunday, September 14, O'Reilly Tulsa "100" are available for only $31, with general admission tickets available for $26. General admission for children ages 6-11 is $11. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are also available for the Night Before the "100" USAC National Midget Series event, which will take place atop Creek County Speedway's ¼-mile clay oval in Sapulpa, just 25 minutes southwest of the Tulsa Fairgrounds Motorplex, on Saturday night, September 13.
Tickets for the Night Before the "100" USAC Midget event, which will feature many of same open wheel non-wing stars that will race at the Tulsa Fairgrounds Motorplex the next day, including current USAC Silver Crown, Midget and Sprint Car point leader J.J. Yeley, defending USAC National Midget champion Dave Darland, Tracy Hines and many more, are available for $20 in advance and $22 on race day.
