DOHA, Qatar -- B1 Racing drivers Josh Hernandez, Ali Aryan and Khalid Mohammed spent the day hoping the winds would change in Qatar, but Mother Nature had her way with the racing schedule at Qatar Racing Club in Doha. Qualifying for Round 6 of the Arabian Drag Racing League's Championship Series was postponed due to high winds and low temperatures.

According to series officials, the event will run in its entirety beginning Friday, February 4 and ending Saturday, February 5, weather permitting.

"They told us that they would keep pushing the event back until we were able to run the whole thing," Pro Nitrous driver Khalid Mohammed said Thursday.

"Hopefully, we'll be able to get it all in tomorrow and Saturday, but we'll just have to wait and see. The delay just gave us more time to fine tune the cars, which is always helpful - the hard part is the waiting," Mr. Mohammed said.
