JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jason Fitzgerald and the M&M Motorsports Team will travel to three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events this weekend. Thursday June 12th Jason will compete at Duck River Speedway in Wheel, TN for a $7,000 to win Lucas Oil sanctioned event. Then on Friday June 13th the M&M Motorsports team will travel to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil sanctioned event. The final leg of the three day weekend will happen in front of the SPEED Channel Cameras at Talladega Short Track in Talladega , AL for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Sanctioned event.

Jason and the team competed inMaryville, TN this past weekend at the Mountain Raceway Park in an O'Reilly Southern All-Stars sanctioned event. Saturday June 7th Jason qualified an impressive 2nd fastest out of the 31 drivers entered. Jason would start from the outside front row and immediately took the lead on the first lap. Jason would lead the early stages of the race but after a caution Jason would fall back to 4th at the halfway point of the race. Jason would battle among the top five but finished 7th in the final run down. Jason is currently second place in the series points standings and leads the Southern All-Stars Rookie of the Year battle.

"We had a really good car this past weekend. I think my tires sealed over during one of the cautions because my car just quit going forward after that last caution. It felt good to lead as many laps as did and gives our team some added confidence that we can race for the win every week. Were starting to hit on some things that should make our team more consistent for the rest of the year. Were looking forward to racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series this weekend and running against those guys", stated Jason.
