CHICKAMAUGA, Ga. -- Chickamauga, Georgia driver Dale McDowell went two-for-two in the Warrior House Car last weekend at the Duck River Speedway in Wheel, Tennessee, as he picked up his second straight checkered flag since jumping behind the wheel of the #1G. The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) sanctioned a $10,000 to win event at Duck River on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20. Dale won his heat race on Friday night and passed leader Shane Clanton for the lead in Saturday's main event on lap twenty. The driver known as the "MacDaddy" then held the point for the remainder of the 75-lap affair to record his sixth feature victory of 2008 ahead of Clanton, Randy Weaver, Wendell Wallace, and Byron Michael! You can view complete results from Duck River online at www.southernregionalracingseries.com.

"Everything is working real well right now between myself and everyone associated with the Warrior House Car team," quoted McDowell earlier in the week. "We both have similar outlooks on things right now; as we have agreed that we don't have to race every weekend or travel the country back and forth every weekend. The race at Duck River was a good one, as lapped traffic made things very interesting. Hopefully, we can keep rolling this weekend at Bulls Gap and go three-for-three!"

Dale and the Warrior House Car team are slated to travel to the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday, September 27. The Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series (AAPTS) will sanction the 'Tennessee Fall Brawl' tomorrow night at "The Gap." The one-day show will be headlined by a $5,000 to win feature event.
