MACON, Ill. -- The Outlaw 600cc Mini Sprints will be making a special appearance this Saturday night June 9th at Macon Speedway as we salute our area Pastors and their congregations. Joining the Outlaw 600cc Mini Sprints are the Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Amateur & Pro Hornets and High School Hornets.

Guy Taylor (Decatur, Il) has been on fire the last few races and sits on top of the Billingsley Towing Modifieds. Rick Roedel (Shelbyville, Il) is the top dog in the UMP Sportsman, Larry Russell jr.(Harristown, Il) leads in the UMP Street Stocks, Derek Peters (Pana, Il) and Brady Reed battle it out in Amateur Hornets and Jeremy Reed (Decatur, Il) leads in the Pro Hornets. Macon Speedway hosts some of the best racing in the Midwest each and every Saturday night, so come out to the track and check out what everyone has been talking about.

This Saturday night June 9th, Gates open at 5pm with racing at 7pm. Adults are $12 and kids 11 and under are Free.

Macon Speedway’s exciting summer schedule includes next Tuesday nights NASCAR Night of Stars. Just announced, NASCAR superstar, Kyle Petty will be joining 2011 NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart for the second Night of NASCAR Stars at Macon Speedway on June 12. Also included are Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace racing their modifieds. The UMP Super Late Models will be on tap to cap a fun filled Tuesday for another spectacular week at the super-fast 1/5 mile.
