NEW CASTLE, Ind. -- This Saturday April 2nd Mt Lawn Speedway will hold the first practice session for the 2005 season. The pit gate will open at 11:00 with practice getting underway at 12:00 until 4:00. Mt Lawn will also hold similar open practice sessions each Saturday afternoon in April and each Wednesday evening from 4:00 until dusk throughout the summer. Memberships, driver registration and pit stall assignments will also be available starting this Saturday. Numbers and pit assignments from 2004 will he held until for renewal until April 23 then they will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Practice is open to all racing classes providing they meet Mt Lawn safety requirments.

Pre-season races with Pro Thunders, Hornets and Front Wheel Drive cars will be held on Sunday afternoon April 24th and May 1st. Open night of the 2005 season will get underway on Saturday night May 7th with Late Models, Thunders, Thunder Rookies and Hornets on the program.
