NEW CASTLE, Ind. -- The 42nd running of the Raintree 100 at Mount Lawn Speedway is scheduled to be presented this Saturday night July 7. According to Rick Sweigart Mt Lawn owner, drivers and fans should check the website (mtlawn.com) or call the track phone (521-4244) after noon on Saturday to confirm the status of the race.

“We cancelled last Friday because of the forecast of excessive heat, but this week will wait until noon Saturday to make the final determination on the race.

We are sorry to for the inconvenience this may cause but forecasted temps in the 100’s create unsafe conditions for all concerned.”

The Raintree is scheduled to start at 8:45 with ticket prices at $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $5 for kids 6-10 with 5 and under free. Mt Lawn is located at 1494 S CR 400 W New Castle.
