MARS, Pa. -- The excitement is building for the UFo vs ULMS "Red Miley Rumble" at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 20. This mega-event will be a show of total speed featuring the UFo/ULMS Super Late Models and the Outlaw 410 Sprints. The UFo/ULMS Super Late Models will race for at least $4,159 to win with the Outlaw 410 Sprints racing for $2,100 to win.

The UFo and ULMS Super Late Models will face off in a 44 lap championship feature. The base pay of the event continues to be increased by position sponsorships that being offered instead of lap money. Sponsors can purchase any position for the low cost of $53, and 100% of that will go to the driver finishing in that position in addition to the listed payoff. Unlimited position sponsorships are available and any additional sponsorships sold will continue to increase the payoff. Currently over $1,400 has been added to the UFo/ULMS Super Late Model total payoff by the positions sponsors with the starting field has being increased to 32 cars for this event.

The Outlaw 410 Sprints will make their 2nd appearance at PPMS for 2011 as part of this huge event. The 21 lap feature will pay $2,100 to win and $250 to start. Additionally, all Sprint teams in attendance will receive a $75 Frankland gift card. PPMS's wide sweeping surface provides some of the most spectacular sprint car speeds ever seen.


The FASTRAK Pro-Lates, E-mods and Cadets will be on the racing program with special payoffs. While each class will race for a $50 bonus to win, all 3 classes will pay $100 to start.

The UFo/ULMS "Red Miley Rumble" is a tribute to former PPMS as well as Motordrome track owner Red Miley. Red was the leader of Miley Motor Sports until his passing. Red was born in 1953, and was 53 years old when he left on 5/3/2006. The number "53" is significant throughout the event.

Josh Richards of Shinnston, WV is a 2-time winner of the event, capturing the checker flag in 2007 and 2011. Bart Hartman of Zanesville, OH won in 2009 and Steve Baker of Fairmont, WV won in 2008. UFo/ULMS feature winners at PPMS in 2011 include Davey Johnson of Imperial, PA, Michael Davis of Rayland, OH and Brandon Burgoon of McDonald, PA.

Gates open at 5:00 with warm-ups at 6:00 and racing at 7:00 following track prep. Grandstands will be $25, seniors $24 junior 13-16 $10, children 7-12 $5 and $38 for all pit tickets.

The UFo Race Championship is an event marketing alliance among independent supertracks in the PA-WV-MD region.
