BANKS, Ore. -- With five point races completed in their innagural season the Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series anticipates returning to action this Saturday August 11th after one week off. The group will return to Sunset Speedway Park where the series will compete at for their in 2012 schedule. The Banks bullring has produced some great races for the NESCS which has drivers with mixed backgrounds and experiences in racing most in a full Sprint Car for the first time.

Ariel Biggs became the first series repeat winner by earning her second triumph of the season in the last race on July 28th. Ricky Ashley, Sammy Wright, and Ryan Bothwell so far have recorded victories this year and Jeff Westergard earned a non-point victory on Thursday July 19th.

The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway. The venue is located in a gorgeous small town setting with rolling hills in the background and hosts weekly competition with Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series, Northwest Wingless Tour, USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bees, Pure Stocks, Womens, and Tracers classes.
