LEBANON, Ore. -- Willamette Speedway will be in action for the fourth event in seven days this Saturday June 23rd. The DirtCar Super Late Models will return along with the Sportsman, Classic Sportsman, and Min Trucks. The USRA Modifieds will be competing as well but will not be running for points.

In 2012 there have been five different DirtCar Super Late Model winners including last week’s winner John Duty. Casey Vitale, Rob Mayea, Russ Sell, and Jeremy Shank have won a feature this season as well. The Sportsman division has seen four different winners this year and Justin Dittman earned the most recent one. Danny Altom has two victories this season but captured the non-point event on Tuesday. Joining Altom and Dittman in the win column is Brian Winkler and Todd Miller.

On a hot streak in the Classic Sportsman class is young Kyle Yeack who has won the last three consecutive features. J.J. Irvine and Adam Walker are the only other two drivers to have won this season in the Classics. In the Mini Trucks there have been two different feature winners in as many races as Scott Lehman and Mark Vonsil have been 2012 winners so far.

The USRA Modifieds will be on hand as mentioned and there have been six different winners in six races. Ken Schrader dominated the field on Tuesday to earn the most recent victory which was non-points for the drivers. Mark Wauge, Jesse Williamson, Craig Cassell, and Dustin Dittman have been point race winners and Kyle Yeack earned a non-points victory on Monday June 11th.

Regular admission to the event is the following prices: Adults $14.00, Seniors (62 and Over) $12.00, Children (12 and Under) $6.00, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Children) $30.00, and Pit Passes $25.00. The pit gate opens at noon while general admission gates open at 2:00. Qualifying is scheduled for 3:00 while racing should be getting started around 6:00.

The Willamette Speedway has operated since the 1960’s and has been regarded as the “Late Model Capital of the Northwest” for many years and is anxious to host fans with the vast upgrades and improvements done over the 2011-12 winter. The venue will host the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series and the American Sprint Car Series-National Tour along with weekly action comprising of DirtCar Late Models, USRA Modifieds, Sportsman, Classics, and Mini Trucks.
