PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- With the third racing season under way the Bateman family who purchased the speedway from long time owners of the speedway the Allan family are excited for the third season getting under way. With so many new things finally coming into play the biggest hurdle so far has been the rumors that the speedway has been sold or even worse that the speedway has been closed, these rumors are just ridiculous.

Painesville Speedway is still thriving and will continue to bring all of it's race fans the fun and excitement that has been at the speedway for years. Friday night racing will be enjoyed once again BUT ONLY a few times this season on holiday weekends to give our fans and drivers time to spend with there families.
