LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Graphic Impressions regrettably has to announce that the Super Late Model division event that was rained out on July 25 will not be rescheduled anytime this season.

Track promoters Donna Rayburn and Chuck Greenslate and series officials regret not be able to find a suitable make-up date agreeable to all involved and apologize for any inconvenience caused to race teams and race fans.

The next scheduled event for America’s most competitive regional touring series will feature a tripleheader weekend that will also serve as the Super Late Model division’s season finale for 2009. The action begins on Friday September 4 at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY with the $4,000 to win Pepsi Cola 40 event. 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY will be the site of Saturday night action on Saturday September 5, for $5,000 to win. The Labor Day weekend tripleheader concludes with the ’09 tour finale at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell Speedway for another $5,000 to win.

The O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series sanctions regional Super Late Model events at tracks in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.
