After seeing Friday night's Hall of Fame Night at Southern Ohio Speedway (Wheelersburg, Ohio) nixed by rain, the team traveled to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday evening for a Weekly Racing Series Event. With 33 entries on hand Eddie earned the second starting spot for the main event. In the feature he quickly worked his way to the lead, and then went on to claim his ninth victory of the season! A pair of special events in the state of Kentucky are on the docket for this weekend, August 3rd-4th. On Friday night the $3,000-to-win, Coalfields 40 will be held at Mountain Motor Speedway (Isom, Kentucky), and on Saturday the 3rd Annual Coal Miner's Classic will be held at Lucky 7 Speedway (Whitesburg, Kentucky), which will post a $5,000-to-win purse.
