STEWART, Ohio -- Despite a week of hard work getting things in order, Skyline has cancelled its racing for Friday July 6 because the power is not going to be restored until Sunday or beyond. The outage continues after last week's severe storms. AGAIN NO RACING FRIDAY JULY 6.

Skyline will race again July 13 with the WIX 100 Nights of Racing. The date for the Rain-delayed Greg Schilling Memorial is yet to be determined, but will take place soon once details are worked out.

Each Friday night Skyline hosts AMRA Tru-Tech Super Late Models, AMRA Malta Doors and Windows Modifieds, Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association Sprint Cars on Hoosier Tires, and Steel Block Late Models.

"We worked hard at repairing all the damage from Friday's storm," said owner Billy Jarrell. "We wanted to put a show on for the fans and give everyone an outlet from the intense heat and a get-away from the storm damage and personal losses. But we are reliant on the power company and we won't have power by at least Sunday. So, we wanted to let everyone know in plenty of time."

Friday, July 27 Skyline will host Bicycle Races for the kids and will host Autograph Night August 24. Friday, July 20 will be the Jack Shutts Memorial.
