WHEELERSBURG, Ohio -- South Point, Ohio's Todd Robinson celebrated the nation's birthday with his own display of fireworks, winning the 'Firecracker 30', the 4th stop in the 2003 AMRA Road Warrior Tour's series, Friday night at the Southern Ohio Speedway.

Robinson avoided a pair of early multi-car accidents, and parlayed his 5th starting position into a early lead that he would maintain throughout the 30 lapper.

While Robinson maintained the point, positions changed every lap behind him, and the top 5 positions were in doubt until the drop of the checkered flag. Finishing 2nd through 5th behind Robinson's # 1c GRT Chassis were Kenny Johnson, Dave Groves, JR Nolan, and Mark Dickson. AMRA RWT Notes:

A rain shower slowed the evenings procedings, but made the already fast track wicked quick, as 37 drivers from 3 states attempted to transfer from 4 heats and 1 b-main to the first ever appearance for the Road Warrior Tour at the newly re-opened Southern Ohio Speedway. Chris Dickson was the "Hassey Chassis Fast Qualifier" with a time of 19.382 seconds Deck Defibaugh was the "Advance Auto Parts Hard Charger" and Brian Taft was the "Aero Wheels Hard Luck" award winner.

Shawn Davis & Ray Perkins were among those unable to start heat races after early problems.

Top 4 from heats, and the top 5 from b-main transfered to the 'Firecracker 30'.

'Firecracker 30' provisional starters were Dale Keplinger, Brandi Taylor and Gregg Oliver.
