Last weekend was full of weather-related issues for ULMA drivers as the third-year association began its 2009 season with a competitive night of sanctioned action at Callaway Raceway in Fulton, Missouri.

The USMTS Casey's General Stores National Tour left the 24 Raceway with some unfinished business last August after recording the first-ever tie for the win when Jon Tesch and Zack VanderBeek crossed he finish line in a dead heat.

Since the practice sessions at 24 Raceway were rained out the first weekend, and then Sunday's was cut short due to weather, another afternoon session has been offered on Wednesday, the 8th of April.

The schedule has been finalized for about a week for the 20th season of racing at this Moberly track, with a last minute swap on the dates of the Sportsman and Hornet Specials.

The top finishers in the points standings for each of the five classes at the high-banked Moberly track will be receiving their share of the points fund in December, as long as that racer participated in 75 % of the 2008 season's schedule that took place.
