WOODHULL, N.Y. -- For the sixth consecutive year the management of the Woodhull Raceway is pleased to announce the Legends of Woodhull Reunion Night at the track.

August 25, 2012 is the date for what has turned out to be a huge addition to the yearly schedule of events at the historic Steuben County oval. All former drivers that competed at the track over the past 48 years will be admitted absolutely free into the Grandstand Seating Area as a show of appreciation of their dedication to the facility.

“For the past four and a half decades the drivers that once competed at the Woodhull Raceway are the ones responsible for the success that we now enjoy. Former legends like Herbie Layfield, Bob Paul, Wes Rogers, Ron Baker, Doug Howard and Curt VanPelt had terrific careers at this facility. We are pleased to welcome them along with so many other greats that paved the way for today’s stars.” That according to Woodhull Track Owner, Ted White.

On the card it will be a Regular Big 6 Show including the make-up running of the Scott Dennison Memorial for the NAPA 30 Late Models which was rained out in June

Gates for the August 25 event open at 4:30 with the first green flag of the night waving at 6:30 pm.

Mt. Dew and RLB Trucking will be onboard as the nightly event sponsor.

With the regular season winding down, the point battle is at a fever pitch with several different drivers jockeying into position for a final push towards the track championship in the respective classes.
