WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- The cars and stars of Wall Stadium’s highly competitive factory Stock division will enjoy top billing this Saturday night (May 26) as they compete in a 50-lap championship main event. Modifieds, Legend Cars and the Street Stocks will also be on the card. Grandstand seating opens at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying starts at 6:00 p.m. Main events are slated for 7:00 p.m.

Wall Stadium’s Factory Stock division features an impressive roster of competitors ranging from tested veterans to young up and coming racing stars. Two-time early season winner Scott Riggleman of Manchester, John Bowers of Pt. Pleasant, Paul Hartwig of Lakewood, former champion Rob Longo of Wall, Marty Van Druten of Toms River, lady driver Tiffany Olejnik of Wall, Steve West of Howell and Ronnie Mullen of Brick are just a few of the drivers expected to see action.

Interest is also high as the powerful Modified stock cars will return after a Saturday night off. Defending champion and May 12 winner Anthony Sesely will lead the way, with fellow 2012 winners Steven Reed of Howell and Adam LaCicero of Lavallette also in the field. Multi-time champion Chas Okerson of Freehold, veteran Ken Woolley, Jr. of Howell and Shannon Mongeau of Bradley Beach will be among those looking for their first win of the season.

In addition to the Factory Stock 50 and the 40-lapper for the returning Modifieds, the Legend Cars and the Street Stocks will also compete in 25-lap main events. The restored racecars of the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club will also be on hand. The Sportsman cars have the night off.

Pit gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday; with regular practice starting at 3:30 p.m. Grandstand seating will open at 5:00 p.m. and the first qualifying event will take the green flag at 6:00 p.m. Main event action is slated for 7:00 p.m.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on most Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months.
