KALEVA, Mich. -- Saturday Night with Great Weather came Great Racing at Northern Michigan Dragway. This season racers have battled low and high temperatures and high humidity but Saturday none of that was a factor, the weather was perfect. The Margins of victory came down to hundredths of a second in most cases, and that was no different in the Bracket I, Bracket II and Early Gamblers Finals. Bill Fluette of Interlochen squeaked out 3 victories in each of those classes and beating out Scott Green of Manistee in two of them. A couple weeks back Bill Fluette was the Big Winner in Bracket II at the 2nd Annual Bow Tie Challenge. Saturday Night continues to show how close the racing action has been at Northern Michigan Dragway all season. In the JadosMedia.com Bracket Racing Series Points, half way through the season all classes are still up for grabs. In Bracket I Eric Johnson of Onekama leads with 118 Points and the places 1 - 5 are less then 60 points between them. In Bracket II the top 6 are divided by 53 points with Scott Green of Manistee in 1st place with 176. The top 3 in Pro Trophy are divided less than 50 points with Ed Peffer of LeRoy with 130 Points. The top 4 in Street Trophy are even closer with 43 between Jimmy Evans in 1st with 142 Points and his Father, Jim Evans both of Benzonia in 4th place with 99 and last but not least in Juniors there is 47 between 1st and 3rd places, with Drew Bouzis of Hart in 1st with 84 points.
