GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Drivers who tow the furthest to compete in both the street stock and Custom Window Plus Badger Mod Tour presented by Floors By Design & Directional Drilling Services will each put an extra $100 bill in their pockets Thursday, August 23 at the Manitowoc County Expo Speedway.

The bonus long haul cash is being thrown in by the Manitowoc County Expo. So far 86 drivers from four states have competed in the BMT. Interest continues to build in the Wisconsin street stock ranks for this event, as drivers from as far south as Beaver Dam and Wilmot Raceways have expressed interest in competing in the mid-week, Fair venue. Other tracks that will be represented with their top street stock guns include 141 Speedway, Manitowoc County Expo Speedway, Oshkosh Speedzone, Seymour Speedway, Thunder Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Chilton Speedway, and both Eagle River and Tomahawk Speedways.

The race will be run during the Manitowoc County fair. A great deal is in store for the race fans, as for just $10 they will get admittance to the fair, including the carnival rides, and also will get them into the race.

The entire race program that night will be run by the staff of 141 Speedway, including track preparation. Merle Lisowe, Bruce Conard and Ryan Collins will oversee the preparation of the clay oval. "We are keeping it to two classes, and our focus is the get the show done in a timely manner so folks can get out that same night and enjoy the Manitowoc County fair," said Conard.

It will wrap up a busy week for the BMT as just two nights prior, Tuesday, August 21 the Tour heads to Oshkosh Speedzone.

The street stocks will throw down for a $500 top prize.
