SPOKANE, Wash. -- Girls just want to have fun, oh yah! Nicole Behar #33 Zips Pony Stock driver once again showed the crowd on Friday night that she is for real. Behar ran two very fast qualifying laps and turned the second lap in striking faction with a time of 21.593 to take hold of yet one more track record. Behar looked very determined to sweep the nights events but fell just short of a heat race win and growling fifth place finish in the Zips Pony Stock main event. Behar and Ben Kramer #85 drove door to door side by side for the trophy dash which had the fans on their feet for the final lap with Behar out front by a bumper.

Hot 96.9 Road Runners with a huge car count for their second night of full blown racing action was anyone guess on who would be the front runner for the evening. For a second week in a row Armand Franzen driver of the #24 Honda from east Wenatchee stepped up to the top of qualifying. Heat race action started very fast and furious with the first of two heat races starting the night with the top five drivers looking to make statements in the early going. Buck Miller #12 advanced to the front of the pack early with Dino Olson #36 and Eric Harris #50 all racing three wide and bumper to bumper for six laps straight. Eric Harris #50 took the lead with two laps remaining and take the checker flag finish for the first time this season. The second main event picked up right were the first one left off with Reesen Tarr #91 and Matt Hoyt #27 going side by side for five laps straight with Tarr advancing to the front for the final lap and win. The main event with twenty cars starting went 20 laps of green flag racing the evenings fast qualifier taking the win Armand Franzen #24 leading for 14 laps and a second main event win for the season. Kudos to Reesen Tarr #91 and Ben Kramer #85 finishing second and third and then start the main event for the Zips Pony Stock main event.

The Zips Pony Stocks put on a showing of fast and competitive racing Andy Brown winner of last Saturday nights ICAR Late Model race took home his fourth main event win this season. Brown told me he thinks its a great time to quite racing with this kind of start to the 2012 season as he laughed and joked with me after the night was over. Andy Brown is one of those drivers that is always competitive but always there to help out any racer at anytime just and all around great guy and racer good luck Andy Brown this season.

The motion Auto Supply Bump to Pass drivers performed the flag pole race once again tonight and have all fans of young and old on the edge of their seats cheering all the drivers on as one again Officer Skid mark made his return to chase down the field of drivers.

Saturday Night Racing continues with the Hobby Stock Invitational, Sportsman and SCR Pro Four Mo0difieds. Racing action starts at 7:15 sharp don’t miss this one. See everyone at the track.
