DELTA, Utah -- Two $1,000 to win IMCA Modified features headline Millard County Raceway’s opening weekend.

Drivers from six states converge on the newly-sanctioned central Utah speedplant. The pre-entry list for the Friday and Saturday, April 20-21 already includes a number of the top drivers from across the Larry Shaw Racing Western Region, with more entries anticipated.

Among the early entries are 2010 national and defending regional champion Zane DeVilbiss, two-time and defending EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour champion Justen Yeager and 2011 Allstar Performance Utah State champion Ron Moser, as well as asphalt turned dirt drivers Michael Hale and Bryan Wordelman.

All applicable IMCA points will be awarded both nights.

The excitement begins on Friday when gates open at 6 p.m. Also racing that night will be the mini Sprints. Saturday’s event will start at 5 p.m. with the addition of mini stocks, hobby stocks, super stocks, and thunder trucks.
