OCALA, Fla. -- The RaceCar Engineering Late Models headline Friday night's show while the Buddy's Home Furnishings Limited Late Models, Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks, and Rent-N-Roll Gladiators take to the track for their turn to win on the Mike Peters Open week-end!

Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. leads the standings after 3 weeks of action, however, he may not be able to race after his eventful out of state race last week. Richard Ferry comes off of a feel good win and sits just 9 points behind Lloyd. Bo Allen and Bryan Bernhardt are top 5 competitors and have come close to victory so far in 2012 and could finally break through on a big stage. Of course, they'll have to get through Big Frog Motorsports' Mark Whitener who has a win slready in 2012. It's up for grabs on a 2-nighter for the RaceCar Engineering Late Models.

Eddie Gainey has been consistent enough to hold the points lead in the Buddy's Home Furnishings Limited Late Models. Kevin Mills, however, will be looking for his 2nd win of 2012 and the points lead with it. Jerome Dipple and Adam Higginbotham are 3rd and 4th and have been quite consistent but still look to break into victory lane and join 5th place JO Nobles and Mills as winners in 2012. The Buddy's Home Furnishings Limited Late Model drivers will do their best to give the fans the best show of the night.

Buddy Pope is 2-0 in 2012 and looks to stay perfect. He'll have to beat drivers such as Reid Christensen and Kyle Kruse who are tied for 2nd in points and Dean Kinsey and Ray Ethridge who are tied for 4th. The action is always intense and the fans will be on the edge of their seats as the Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks battle!

Steve Johnson unofficially leads the 2012 standings by pure consistency but he has Tony LaPorta and Randy Harless within 5 points of him. Where as Johnson is winless in over a year LaPorta and Harless have won within the last month. Reid Christensen is chasing both the Mini Stock and Gladiator titles and is 4th in this battle. He will look to join 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place Steve Cox as winners in 2012 as will the rest of the Rent-N-Roll Gladiators drivers!

Pits open at 4, stands at 5, and racing is scheduled for 7:30 on Friday night. Drivers are ready to battle and for more information you can check out www.bubbaracewaypark.com or call the Speedway hotline!
