Friday, June 1, 2012 USCS Sprint-Cars Scheduled to Return to Cleveland Speedway June 23
 by Steve HixsonATLANTA, Ga. -- The United Sprint Car Series 16th Anniversary Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by Goodyear will return to Cleveland Speedway on Saturday night, June 23rd for action at the clay banked 1/3 mile dirt track just North of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The traveling Winged Outlaw Open Wheel racers will be in competition along with the B-Hobby division Mid-Season Championship, A-Hobby, Pony, FWD and the new Cruisers division. The U.S.C.S event pays $2000 to win with a minimum of $250 to start the 30 Lap A-Main Feature race. During the course of competition, many of the top ranked drivers in the Nation are expected to compete. Those include ten-time USCS Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee and 2002 NSCHOF 360 Sprint Car Driver of the Year and 2008 USCS Mid South Thunder regional Champion, Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas. Gray currently leads the USCS Mid South Thunder regional point standings and is second on the all-time feature winner list in the USCS presented by Goodyear with 80+ wins. Tim Crawley leads the National point standings. Crawley is third on the all-time list with over 40+ USCS feature wins. A pair of heat races and a Dash race will preceed the nights feature event.
