HAMMET, Pa. -- This coming Sunday, June 17, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will make their annual; visit to Eriez Speedway with point’s leader Union KY’s Darrell Lanigan, last year’s winner of this event, leading the charge. Currently running second in the Outlaw Series is Kevin Eckert, from York, PA. Chub Frank, local star from Bear Lake, PA currently sits third in the series, with Fayetteville, GA’s Shane Clanton, winner of the $100,000 to win Dream at Eldora Speedway, currently fourth. Clanton also has ties to this area, driving for a Jamestown area-based team.

The Conway & O’Malley Limited Late Models, the Bonnell Collision Center Street Stocks, and the Dan’s Rt 8 Boardwalk Bar & Grill FASTRAK Late Models will run regular length features with no heat racing and no season points awarded.

Eriez Speedway is located on Sampson Road, just off Lake Pleasant Road in the town of Hammett, PA, 3 miles south of Interstate 90. Take Route 8 South from Interstate 90 Exit 29 and follow the signs starting in Hammett. Admission for all this special event is $30.00 for Adults and seniors, children 6 - 15 $15, under 6 free. Pit admission for this event is $35. Action gets underway at 5:30 PM.
