Thursday, June 21, 2012 2012 Musgrave Memorial Postponed to June 23
 by Tom WhiteSCHERERVILLE, Ind. -- With no weather in the forecast mother nature thru yet another curve ball at owner Mike Mikuly and the Illiana Motor Speedway last Saturday night postponing the 11th annual Musgrave Memorial twin 56 lap program to Saturday Night June 23rd. A pure stock novelty race was completed and a severe thunderstorm cell popped up and lasted into Sunday morning. The full program has been rescheduled plus Van Senus auto parts Turbo stocks. The Field is set with Wisconsin`s Matt “The King” Kocourek and John Nutley occupying the front row for the first of two 56 lap events. The event is held in the memory and honor of the late Elmer Musgrave, who passed away in 2000. Musgrave was a long-time Chicagoland stock car competitor, racing at tracks throughout the Midwest and the Chicago area. Special Event Schedule & Pricing The gates open Saturday at 4:00 p.m., with time trials set for 5:00 p.m. and the first race getting the green flag at 7:00 p.m. Three Division feature races will highlight the program Including Late Models, Buys off Broadway Legends, Make It Straight Pure Stocks Adults -$15 Children 8-12, $5 7 & Under Free.
