Tuesday, July 24, 2012 Gabehart to Make ARCA/CRA Super Series Return
 by Glenn LuckettFormer ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion and current Joe Gibbs Racing Engineer Chris Gabehart will return to the driver’s seat when he competes in the Fatheadz 100 presented by Team Construction at Lucas Oil Raceway on Friday, July 27. "I’m looking forward to getting back into a car to do a bit of driving,” said Chris Gabehart. “I feel that my driving has been my biggest asset in getting me to where I am today and look forward to getting back to my roots and having some fun." Gabehart will drive for car owner John Marshall with sponsorship from Midnight Blue Towing, Senneker Performance - Terry Senneker, Hendricks Country Auto Parts, AP Racing Engines and Lane Automotive. "I want to thank John Marshall, Bob Blount, and everybody who is helping put this program together. I also want to thank Dave Rogers and Joe Gibbs Racing for giving me a day off from the big track to race with the ARCA/CRA Super Series at Lucas Oil Raceway." Gabehart earned the 2007 ARCA/CRA Super Series Championship outdueling some of the series all-time great drivers John VanDoorn and Scott Hantz. Gabehart’s career highlights include victories at the 2008 All American 400 at Nashville and 2007 win at Lucas Oil Raceway in Circle Track Nationals. His most recent appearance in the ARCA/CRA Super Series included a new track record at the 2009 Winchester 400. In series history, Gabehart has six career victories, 11 fast time awards, 21 top-five finishes and 40 top 10s. He has visited the winner’s circle twice at Lucas Oil Raceway. His first career victory took place at Winchester Speedway in May of 2005. Chris Gabehart and all the stars of the ARCA/CRA Super Series will be featured in the FatHeadz 100 presented by Team Construction at Lucas Oil Raceway on Friday, July 27. The first of two practice sessions is set for 12:45 p.m. with qualifying slated for 4:30 and racing beginning at 7.
