SALINA, Okla. -- The drivers of the Show-Me Racin Series made the haul to Salina Oklahoma's Highbanks Speedway for some super-fast racing action on Saturday night June 18. The series had its third new winner of the year, with Randy Morgan starting on the pole, and hanging on for the win.

Leslie Essary was in second, coming on strong and had an oil line come off, causing the only caution of the race on lap 15. Ironically, Aaron Botzow had engine trouble at the same time as Essary, causing a few tense moments with two cars on the track at the same time with fires under their hoods. Both fires were put out quickly, with no major damage to either car.

Jim Fulp, Glen Yarbrough, and Chris Coats came away with heat race wins. The points battle is very tight with only 4 points between first and second, and numerous other battles throughout the field.

The next stop on the series tour is at Monett Speedway on July 3rd, with other July events on the 9th at Springfield Raceway, July 22 at Bolivar Speedway, July 23 at West Plains Speedway, and July 30 at Fayetteville, AR.
