Hatton, who started outside front row, chased Aaron Berryhill who led the first half of the event. A spin in turn two brought out the caution and while the yellow came out Berryhill spun coming out of turn four giving Hatton the lead. Hatton was chased by Nick Knepper and Andrew Felker with Felker falling off the pace with five laps to go. Hatton won by six car lengths over Knepper, Brad Kuhn, Daniel Adler and Tim Siner rounding out the top five. Knepper now leads the POWRi points chase over Siner, Felker, Adler and Kuhn heading into the Dana Godfrey Memorial Wednesday July 22 at Macon Speedway in Macon, IL for Kasey Kahne night.
