The only other racer to have as many wins, this season is Jeep Van Wormer, though the Michigan based DIE-HARD HUNTER fourth in the standings behind Jason Feger. The North finally slows up a tad as the World of Outlaw Late Models get set to invade for a four (4) night Northern stint, that seems sure to be gobbled up by KID-ROCKET’s gang. Eddie Carrier Jr. (2008 Northern RANKINGS runner-up) and Chad Simpson are tied now for fifth in the overall standings. Boom Briggs is still hanging in there with his three (3) “W’s” and could be a threat in Pennsylvania if the POSSE gets motivated. Jason THE KING Covert is eighth in the standings just ahead of Rodney Melvin and Steve Shaver. Of the notable; Josh McGuire joins the Northern RANKINGS crew this week, along with the likes of Dustin Neat, The MODERN DAY COWBOY (good 80’s tune) John Gill, Mike Jewell and Bo Feathers.
