Tuesday, January 18, 2011 Allied Auto Racers Honored at Banquet

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. -- The 2010 Allied Auto Racing Association banquet was held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Collinsville. The class champions for Belle Clair Speedway and I-55 Raceway were crowded and additional award winners were named.
At Belle Clair Speedway, Michael Kloos - Late Model, Aaron Kleine, Modified, Mark Schaefer - Sportsmen, Brad Venhaus - Pure Stock and Aaron Wood - Pro 4 received their trophies and checks. Additional award winners were Rookie of the Year - Andrew Johns - Late Model, Best Appearing Car - Aaron Kleine - Late Model, Jim Gibson - Most Improved Driver - Late Model, Zeb Moake - Rookie of the Year - Modified, Tim Fohne - Best Appearing Car - Modified, Bobby Johnson - Most Improved Driver - Modified, Ryan Gegg - Most Improved Driver - Sportsmen, Mark Schaefer - Best Appearing Car - Sportsmen, Tyler Ratajczyk and Zac Hoffman - Co-Rookie of the Year - Pure Stock, Byran Baker - Most Improved Driver - Pure Stock, Nick Collette - Most Improved Driver - Pure Stock, Derek Lisac - Roolie of the Year - Pro-4 and Aaron Wood - Best Appearing Car - Pro-4.
At I-55 Raceway, Mark Voigt - Late Model, Rusty Griffaw - Modified, Jeff Herzog - Sportsmen and Justin McCallister - Pro-4 received their trophies and checks for winning their championships. Additional award winners were Jason Crump - Rookie of the Year - Late Model, Dave Jumper - Best Appearing Car - Late Model, Paul Roider - Most Improved Driver - Late Model, Paul Bauman - Best Appearing Car - Modified, Josh Russell - Most Improved Driver - Modified, Steve Edgecombe - Most Improved Driver - Sportsmen, Matt Brucato - Best Appearing Car, Tom Rohrabacher - Rookie of the Year - Pro4 and Jeff Turner - Best Appearing Car - Pro4.
Special awards went to Don McGinnis - Lifetime Membership Award, Shelly Korvis - Leo Ladendecker Award and Al Kreke - Roger Menaed Sportsmen Award.
